From July 5 – 9, 2027, the Swiss Plasma Center, EPFL is delighted to welcome you to the beautiful lakeside city of Lausanne, Switzerland!
Nestled on the shores of Lake Leman and surrounded by stunning Alpine scenery, Lausanne offers a unique blend of history, culture, innovation, and international excellence.
The city is home to a beautifully preserved medieval old town, crowned by the magnificent Lausanne Cathedral, one of Europe’s finest Gothic landmarks, overlooking winding streets, lively squares, and welcoming cafés.
Nearby, the UNESCO-listed Lavaux vineyard terraces stretch along Lake Leman, offering spectacular views of the lake and the Alps. Lausanne is also an ideal base for discovering Switzerland’s renowned culinary traditions, from Gruyère cheese to artisanal Swiss chocolate.
